Tuition Overview
The Accounts / Tuition section in ampEducator is where you manage all aspects of tuition-related financial records for students. This section allows you to generate, review, and distribute tuition statements, as well as prepare the necessary XML files for CRA submission.
Within this section, you can:
- Generate Tuition Statement Jobs: Create jobs to generate T2202 tuition statements for students who have eligible tuition transactions within a specific tax year.
- Review Tuition Statements: Easily verify individual student statements, ensuring all required data is accurate before making them available or submitting them to the CRA.
- Download PDFs: Generate and download individual or bulk PDF statements for distribution or record-keeping.
- Make Statements Available to Students: Provide students with secure access to their tuition statements directly through the Student Portal.
- Generate CRA XML Files: Prepare the XML files required for official submission to the Canada Revenue Agency.
This section streamlines the entire T2202 reporting process, from generating tuition statements to making them available for students and submitting the required reports to the CRA.
