PDF Templates
The Institution Config / PDF Templates section allows you to create and customize the layout of various documents generated within the system. PDF Templates are most commonly used for letters, contracts, and transcripts, but can also be applied to ID cards, credentials, and tests.

These templates give you control over the design and branding of your documents. You can include your institution’s logo, custom headers and footers, and choose the formatting that best suits each document type. Multiple templates can be created and assigned as needed, giving you flexibility across different locations and use cases.
To add a new template, click on the green Add PDF Template button. A pop-up window will appear where you can upload your PDF file, enter a Template Name, and adjust the margins (in inches) if needed.

Once you're done, click Add to save the template. It will then appear in your list and can be used for letters, contracts, transcripts, and more.
After adding a template, you may find that the margins need a bit of adjusting—especially once you start using it with different document types like contracts, transcripts, or letters. To make changes, simply return to the PDF Templates section and click the edit icon next to the template you want to adjust.

You can then update the top, bottom, left, and right margins as needed and click Save. There's no need to re-upload the file unless you're changing the background design.
