Institution Config

Locations

The Locations section allows you to manage physical or virtual locations used throughout your institution. Locations are used across various areas in ampEducator such as Hour Clocks, Course Scheduling, Programs, and more. You can add new locations or edit existing ones from Home / Institution Config / Locations.

Adding a New Location

Click Add New Location to open the form. Enter the required details such as the name of the location, contact information, and address.

Once complete, click Add New Location to save. The location will then appear on the Locations List for use throughout the system.

Editing a Location

To update a location or add more information, click on its name from the list, and an Edit Location window will open.

In addition to the fields entered when creating a new location, you’ll also be able to enter:

  • Status (Active or Inactive)
  • Organization ID
  • PCC ID
  • Operating Name
  • Legal Name
  • OSAP Institution Code (for institutions in Ontario, Canada)

Once updated, click Save to apply your changes.
