Navigating Students

Students Overview

ampEducator’s Students section provides flexible and powerful tools to manage every aspect of student records, from enrollment and academics to communication and financial tracking.

Here, you'll find a list of all enrolled students, along with options to manually add new students. You can also import student data from a CSV file or through our API if you're using a different CRM system for Admissions or Recruitment.

At the top of the page, the More Actions button lets you perform tasks like adding students to groups, enrolling them in programs or courses, generating reports, printing or emailing ID cards, and more.

When you click on a student's name, you'll be taken to their Student Profile, which is organized into four tabs:

  • Profile
  • Academics
  • Accounts
  • Communications

At the top of the Student Profile you will see Summary Data on the Student. This information is fixed and for quick reference purposes.

If you've already been using the Prospects section, all relevant information will carry over once you change their status to "Enrolled." Student Advisors can also be assigned and can be set to view either all students or just those assigned to them, based on your institution's setup.

Student “More Actions” Dropdown Menu

The More Actions dropdown menu allows for additional actions you can take in the Student section of ampEducator. Whether you're enrolling students in courses, generating reports, or managing communication preferences, these options make it easy to handle multiple students efficiently. You can select multiple students to perform bulk actions by using the checkboxes next to each student's name, or the master checkbox at the top to select all, visible, or clear your selection.

Navigating the Student List

The Student List allows you to efficiently manage and view student information, featuring up to 25 students per page with color-coded indicators for deleted records. You can edit profiles, view academic details, reset passwords, or delete records using intuitive icons. The list supports searching, filtering, and customizing displayed columns, making it easy to find and organize student data. Additionally, you can save your configurations for future use and export filtered data as PDF, CSV, or XML files. To explore all these features in more detail, watch the video below.
