Class List
Class Lists provide an easy way for students to view a list of their classmates directly within the Student Portal. Once enabled, the Class List allows students to access and interact with their peers, helping foster a sense of community within the course.
To enable the Class List feature, go to the LMS tab of your course and find the Class Lists section. Check the box to enable the Class List, which will automatically become available in the Student Portal. Students can then access the list of classmates.
Instructors can choose to display additional student information in the class list. After enabling the Class List, you can select which details are visible to students, such as:
- Photo: Show students' photos in the class list.
- Email: Include email addresses of students in the class list.
- Phone Number: Display students' phone numbers.
This customization gives instructors the flexibility to decide what contact details are shared, ensuring privacy while enabling necessary access.
Once the Class List is enabled, students can go to the Student Portal, navigate to their course, and click on the Resources tab. Here, they can view the class list along with the contact information made available to them. This feature helps enhance communication and connection among students.
