Assigning Lead Sources, Interested In, and Tags

Managing and Assigning Lead Sources

Lead sources help you track and report how prospects discovered your institution. Your ampEducator account comes with some default lead sources, but you can easily customize and add your own. When lead sources are assigned, you can use filters in the Prospect List to see how many prospects came from each source.

Creating new source categories allows you to organize leads more effectively, such as having a dedicated "Social Media" category that specifies different platforms like Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter, making it easier to analyze the performance of each source.

Managing and Assigning the “Interested In” List

The "Interested In" feature helps you keep track of the courses or programs that each Prospect is interested in. This allows you to enhance your follow-ups, send relevant and personalized information, and assign the right advisor to assist them. Additionally, it provides valuable data insights. You can assign multiple items from this list to a Prospect at once, making it easier to filter and organize your Prospect list.

ampEducator supports the integration of forms on your website and through various lead provider platforms like Meta, WordPress, and more. These forms can ask new prospects about their interests, helping you gather valuable insights right from the start.

Based on these chosen interests, ampEducator can automatically assign prospects to advisors who specialize in those areas. You can also trigger actions like sending relevant emails, SMS notifications, or additional forms to keep prospects engaged.

Creating Tags

Tags help you further customize the Prospect List by allowing you to add specific, customizable information for each Prospect. By incorporating extra details, tags make it easier to sort and manage your Prospects effectively. They appear in orange next to the Prospect's status, so they're easy to spot, and you can assign multiple Tags to each Prospect.

For example, you can track a unique Prospect Status specific to your institution or highlight a workflow stage like "Follow Up #2". Additionally, Tags can be used in filters and searches, making it easier to review and navigate your Prospects.

Adding Tags to a Prospect

Once you’ve created your specific tags, you can easily add these tags to your prospects.
