Admission Tab

the admission tab brings together all the key requirements that need to be completed before enrolling a prospect it includes important planning fields like expected program and intake, required admission documents like the application and contract, and a customizable checklist for tracking final steps this tab is especially useful for admissions advisors as it provides a clear, centralized view of what’s completed and what still needs to be done—making it easier to manage the admissions process from start to finish admission status this section appears at the top of the admission tab and clearly indicates whether the prospect’s admission requirements are complete or not complete if it's not complete, you'll see a list of outstanding items that must be addressed—such as unsigned documents or unchecked checklist items once all required checklist items and documents are completed, the prospect’s admission status will automatically update to complete this status automatically updates as you complete the required components in the sections below admission details this section is where you can enter key planning information for the prospect’s expected enrollment while not mandatory, it plays an important role in forecasting, reporting, and preparing documents any values entered here can be used to filter prospects in reports and searches, and can also be pulled into contracts or forms using merge text this makes it a valuable section for both admissions advisors and administrative teams looking to streamline their workflows once you’ve entered or updated the details, click update admission details to save admission core documents this section includes the three default documents used in most admissions processes application , letter of offer , and contract these documents are managed in institution config / prospects / admissions each document can be assigned, sent, and tracked from this section, and their statuses will update as the prospect views, signs, or completes them for instructions on how to assign and send these documents, see the activity feed docid\ a2qef9z2f2aif9t iikri section of this guide admission checklist this checklist includes any final admission requirements specific to your institution—such as submitting transcripts or a government issued id the master admissions checklist is configured in admissions docid\ k75tz4xd99ym2osegqfuk , and is separate from lead stage items adding an individual admission checklist item sometimes you may need to request something specific or unique from a particular student that doesn’t apply to everyone in these cases, you can add an individual checklist item so that it doesn’t get missed admin users can manage this list (add, delete, or update items), while admissions advisors only have the option to complete each item click new item to open the add admission item modal from here, you can choose the type of item (e g , check box, document, email, form, etc ), enter a title , and optionally add instructions if the item must be completed before admission is finalized, check the completion required box before saving once you press add , the new checklist item will appear in the list underneath the master items more actions add all item templates if you’ve recently updated your master admissions checklist in institution config, but those updates aren’t showing for an existing prospect, click the more actions button and select add all item templates this ensures any new checklist items are added retroactively to that prospect’s admission checklist it’s not used often, but helpful when updates are made mid process the admissions checklist for prospects includes various tasks (both required and optional) that need to be completed during the enrollment process, with ampeducator tracking and displaying the status of each required item as either completed or not completed there is a master admissions checklist that can be set up within the institution config settings, where you can set up a list of tasks that apply to all prospects each prospect also has an individual admissions checklist in their profile admin users can manage this list (add, delete, or update items), while admissions advisors only have the option to complete each item checklist items you can add include check box a simple requirement to be marked complete contract a document to be digitally signed document a file to be uploaded email an email to be sent form a form or application to complete letter a letter to generate or send meeting a meeting to schedule or complete sms an sms message to be sent
