Credentials

Within Institution Config / Credentials, you can manage the types of credentials your institution awards, design certificate templates, enable public verification through ampEducator’s built-in Authentication Portal, and optionally integrate with Accredible to issue and authenticate digital credentials. This section is divided into three tabs: Credentials, Authentication Portal, and External Providers.

External Providers Tab

You can optionally integrate ampEducator with Accredible, a third-party provider that supports issuing and verifying digital credentials. This allows you to award credentials such as certificates and diplomas through Accredible and provide secure authentication links for external verification.

Configuring Accredible

To get started, navigate to Institution Config / Credentials / External Providers. Accredible will already be selected in the Credential Provider dropdown. Check Enabled—this will reveal the API Key field.

Enter your API Key, which you can find in your Accredible account under API & Integrations. Then, click Test & Save to verify and complete the setup.

After your API key is verified, the integration becomes active and the Issuer field fills in automatically, enabling you to issue and authenticate credentials through Accredible directly from ampEducator.
