The **User Jobs** section allows you to track background tasks you’ve initiated in ampEducator, such as sending account details, restoring or canceling courses, recalculating student totals, or adding courses. Each job displays the type of action performed, the user who started it, the start and end time, and the current status.

Jobs are organized into **Active Jobs** and **Job History** tabs to help separate in-progress tasks from completed ones.

User Jobs run through a **queueing system**, with tasks processed one at a time to improve performance and reduce system load. While a job is running, a **progress bar and completion percentage** appear, allowing you to monitor its progress and see when a job has finished.

### Viewing Jobs

User Jobs are divided into two tabs:

- **Active Jobs** – Displays jobs that are currently queued or running
- **Job History** – Displays completed and past jobs

By default, the system opens to the most relevant view based on your activity, making it easy to monitor current processes or review completed ones.

If available, the **User Jobs Filter** can be used to adjust what’s shown in the list, allowing you to view jobs based on your permissions.

Visibility options also help reduce clutter by keeping system-level jobs hidden unless they’re needed.

### Viewing Job Details

Click the **View Job** icon (magnifying glass) to open a detailed log for a specific task.

The job details include the job type, title, location, user who ran it, start and end times, and the current status.

Below this information, you’ll see a detailed breakdown of what occurred during the job, such as which staff or students were included, what actions were processed, and a confirmation summary indicating whether the task completed successfully. This information is helpful for verifying results or troubleshooting if something didn’t go as expected.

### Deleting Completed Jobs

Once a job has completed, you can click the **Delete Job** icon (x) to remove it from the list.

Deleting a job does not affect the completed action. It simply removes the job from your view.
