The **Transcript Storage** tab is where you can connect ampEducator with an integrated provider to handle transcript distribution and secure digital archiving. Currently, **STEPS** is the supported storage provider within ampEducator. STEPS offers secure storage, easy transfer of student transcripts, and institution-level access to manage and track transcript submissions. Once integrated, transcript data from ampEducator can be automatically formatted and sent using the configurations you set.

## Configuring Transcript Storage

Before configuring this section, you’ll need to have an active STEPS account. To begin, use the **Storage Provider** dropdown to select **STEPS**. Once selected, additional setup fields will appear.

You’ll need to provide:

- **Admin User Name / Pass** – Login credentials for your STEPS admin account.
- **Certified By / Position** – The name and title of the person certifying the transcript.
- **Grading Key** – A reference guide for how grades are interpreted (e.g., *A = 90–100%*).
- **Location Mapping** – Match your ampEducator locations to how they should be labeled in STEPS.

Once all required fields are complete, click **Update** to save your settings.
