The **Role Sensitivity** settings allow you to control which roles can view and export sensitive information across the system.

### How It Works

Each role can be assigned a sensitivity level for:

- **Read Sensitivity:** What sensitive data the role can view
- **Export Sensitivity:** What sensitive data the role can export

Available options:

- **None:** No access to sensitive fields
- **Sensitive:** Access to standard sensitive fields
- **Highly Sensitive:** Access to all sensitive fields

### Viewing Sensitive Fields

To see which fields are considered sensitive, click the **“here”** link in this section.

This opens a list of all sensitive fields in the system, along with their classification.

Each field is labeled as either:

- **Sensitive**
- **Highly Sensitive**

These typically include student information such as:

- Address and contact details
- Date of birth
- Identification information (e.g. SIN/SSN)
- Verification and ID-related fields

### How Restrictions Appear

If a role does not have access to certain fields:

- The data will appear as **restricted or hidden** in lists and exports
- The same restrictions apply across the system

### Editing with Restricted Access

Users can still edit records, but:

- They will only see and update the fields they have access to
- Restricted fields will remain hidden and unchanged

### Important Notes

- **Student / User Logins** require **Highly Sensitive** access
- Sensitivity settings apply across:
 - Data lists
 - Student profiles
 - Reports and exports

### Proctor Access (Instructor Role)

A new course access permission called **Proctor** controls access to:

- Student verification images
- ID photos
- Security logs

If this permission is not enabled, instructors will not be able to view this information.
