Attendance and Hours

Student attendance is tracked through Attendance Events added to courses. The totals are displayed in the Student Profile, as well as in the Course Attendance section. Attendance is shown by Cumulative Current (enrolled) and Overall (all status), by Session, and by Program.

To generate an attendance report for the Student, click 'Generate Report.' You can also view attendance by course, broken down by week. You can also click the magnifying glass next to a Course in the Student's Course List to view all attendance records for that class.

Student hours can be tracked separately from attendance or can be used to update attendance records. This feature is designed for schools that want to track hours through our built-in Hour Clock system. Students can clock in and out using ID cards, either printed or digitally scanned from a smartphone. Each student must be assigned an Hour Clock, which can be set up under Institution Configuration.
