The **API** tab allows developers to connect ampEducator with other software systems by using a secure, REST-style API. This can be useful for automating tasks, syncing data with external platforms, or building custom integrations.

To use the API, you must first check **API Enabled** to activate it. Once enabled, an **API Key** will be visible. This unique key gives access to ampEducator’s API and should be kept private. You can also click **Generate New Key** if you ever need to reset it.
