ampEducator Roadmap 2026
we’re excited to share our 2026 roadmap! here’s a month by month look at upcoming features and improvements in ampeducator january 2026 in app contextual help we’ll begin rolling out contextual help directly within the ampeducator interface where relevant, a question mark icon will appear, giving users quick access to help in the form of text, links, documents, and videos february 2026 primary student statuses & cohorts to standardize the student lifecycle, we’re introducing primary student statuses that will exist alongside each institution’s custom statuses we’ll also expand program intakes into a more general cohorts feature cohorts will allow institutions to group and track students by category — such as primary cohort, program cohort, or special/functional cohorts (funding, demographics, compliance) students will be able to belong to multiple cohorts at once march 2026 academic status to improve reporting on academic performance, we’ll add more control over how a student’s academic status is calculated institutions will be able to define which courses (current, session, or program) determine status weekly academic status snapshots will be generated and compared to previous weeks to identify performance trends an optional weekly report and email notification for students will also be available april 2026 enhanced reporting, visualization & ai querying we’re adding several enhancements to make reports more powerful and interactive view reports live in ampeducator without downloading drill down into sub reports or related resources like students or courses automatically generate charts and graphs with any report expanded report builder with advanced joins and calculated columns a new ai query tool that lets you request data using natural language, which will then generate the corresponding query may 2026 expanded reports (20–30 essential reports) we’ll be adding a comprehensive suite of reports across multiple categories enrollment & demographics enrollment by term, demographics, and admissions funnel academic performance gpa trends, academic standing, test summaries, graduation and retention attendance & engagement attendance summaries, absences, and engagement analytics financial reports tuition, balances, aid allocations, and refunds scheduling & course management registration, waitlists, classroom use, and faculty loads compliance & accreditation government reports, attendance compliance, and accreditation metrics advising & support services at risk student lists and related insights june 2026 dashboard revamp & custom dashboards with the reporting upgrades complete, we’ll introduce revamped dashboards by role, customizable layouts, and the ability to create custom dashboards from reports planned dashboard types include student schedule, grades, gpa trends, attendance, finances, alerts, messages instructor/faculty rosters, attendance, gradebook, performance metrics advisor/counselor progress reports, early warning indicators, notes, follow ups registrar enrollment, graduation eligibility, course utilization finance balances, payments, revenue, aid distribution it/system admin login activity, uptime, integrations, permissions compliance attendance compliance, audit trails, data protection monitoring executive/leadership enrollment trends, retention, revenue, performance metrics july 2026 smart attendance system / teacher portal we’ll introduce a simplified instructor view focused on key course areas and make the attendance process easier and faster august 2026 forms revamp forms will be completely revamped with new features, including more layout options (tabbed or progressive forms), enhanced tracking and completion tools, and the ability to send and manage forms in bulk or by group september 2026 mobile revamp the mobile interface will be redesigned for a more user friendly experience the goal is to ensure users can perform the same key tasks on mobile devices as they can on desktops and tablets october 2026 workflow automation a full automation system will allow institutions to perform actions automatically when specific triggers occur examples include sending an email, sms, or form when a student’s status changes or a new student record is created different triggers and actions will be available for prospects, students, courses, and programs november 2026 in app notifications we’ll add in app notifications for students and staff, covering updates such as course enrollments, grade changes, due date reminders, and general announcements december 2026 calendar revamp the calendar will be redesigned to be more flexible and intuitive users will be able to add or remove calendars (e g , for courses, users, or public events) and view others’ calendars based on role permissions we’re looking forward to an exciting year of new features and improvements that will make ampeducator more powerful, intuitive, and connected than ever before
